Yes I maintain that on my RHEL5.3 partition (which is at the moment inaccessible) I couldn't
reproduce this with the latest kernel. The bisection was done on a SLES partition. So PAM
seems a very likely suspect. I think Tyler had mentioned something like that yesterday too.
