Hello and thanks for your bug report. I made a few changes to it, here is a full explaination of my actions:

* I've changed the title and description to match what the bug is really trying to address. The bug tracker isn't a place to discuss decisions, but rather a place to track project goals. Discussions about what needs to be done should go to a mailing list, specifically -desktop (https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-desktop) or -devel-discuss (https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/Ubuntu-devel-discuss), depending on what you want to discuss exactly.

* I marked this bug as affecting the GNOME control center. For KDE or Xfce new bugs should be filed (or new tasks should be added to this one).
