I just performed a full update of all packages on my 12.04 installation, rebooted, and tried again:

So the warning is still there. This installation was a regular install with the Gnome 2 desktop environment from Lucid, then I upgraded it to 12.04. I think now it has Gnome packages installed but it also has the Unity environment. It is just a VM I set up for testing the next release, so I don't ever log into the desktop, I just SSH into it, but the desktop is there to pick up compatibility issues that might arise, so I can report bugs.
