Just a little update:
So I re-installed Ubuntu 11.04. I've got the latest updates from the main-server and I run the 64-bit edition.
The problem still exists, here's the information I got from (trying) installing World of Goo. (From the official Humble Bundle Package)

"The package is of bad quality
