"Ubuntu Welcome Window - Getting started with ubuntu" screen
This is the "Getting Started with Ubuntu" screen specification. This will be the 2nd screen (most likely) coming right after the main Ubuntu Welcome Window. The intent of this screen is to host links to common tasks the new Desktop User will like to do immediately after installing the desktop. The purpose is NOT to invent something drastically new but provide links to commonly used tools as well as shortcuts to common tasks done after installation.

Whiteboard
I added another Slide to the specifications. This one is a simple list of tasks that should be done after installation.
- we should take contents from the Ubuntu Manual, this will make this work easier.[dael99]
[axayg]: agree. i did try to take a look at the manual but not a hard one i suppose. will revisit this. BTW, is there a better way to collaborate on launchpad (than this status whiteboard)
axayg$: took another stab at it based on the ubuntu manual. See slide#4. You were right - the manual is so nicely done, we dont have to reinvent it. :)
axayg$: dael99, are you working on this spec anymore? can i help further?
