Ubuntu Oregon LoCo Website Brainstorm

[Patrick O] Suggestion: Somewhere on the website, we should provide a link to all the places our team exists on the web (LoCo page, the page where you sign up for the mailing list, social networks, launchpad, any others I'm forgetting).

[wxl] what about a job board? we could posts jobs that we're aware of in our area for others in the state to pick up on.

[Patrick O] +1 for wxl's job board idea. Also wanted to add that I kind of like how the homepage of Vancouver Ubuntu (http://www.meetup.com/ubuntuvancouver/) presents Ubuntu as a solution to some technology problems.

[wxl] +1 on Patrick O's idea to make evangelising and promoting Ubuntu at the core of our website. This is our purpose after all.

[Tim] I'm doing the dirty work! I'm ready to start the design/development. I am a web host but I understand we are in the process of official hosting. As soon as I have login credentials I can start my end.
