A twitter-style system that pops up one-liners to admins when they login would be a good system to implement. It is much easier than writing a whole PM system (overkill IMO) and most things will just be "Argh, this has gone down, jump on Freenode so we can fix it". Assigning me to this as Saj seems to be away on Holiday. @Saj feel free to have it back once you return.

beta is available in ubuland-devel. The only thing lacking is a manager to edit, delete or de-activate messages but at this stage it is not important. A new blueprint should be opened for that.
