Explain Ubiquity to new users.
The ubiquity installer is somewhat vague in its explanations of its actions. This could be somewhat relieved with such measures as pop ups of what is going to be deleted, what the filesystem going to be deleted in partitioning and its relation (such as "Windows XP/Vista" instead of "sda1"), use easier terminology such as "Shrink Windows by #%" instead of "use #% amount of Hard Disk", and show the user the folder (XP/Vista partition containing files) showing what is going to be deleted upon the installation.
Most of all, impede the user from just clicking next, next, next by having the prompt wait a certain amount of time so the user takes time to read, then bring up notifications about what exactly is going to happen by using normal terminology, not "Geek Greek".
