URL shortening via is.gd and others

The ability for the application to auto-shorten URLs would be beneficial, one of the shortest services seems to be is.gd which has a simple API too. Also in doing this, the application should try to compensate the length counter to adjust for the short URL, regular URL not counting against the 140 limit.
