Secure browsing 'thin' appliance (access via remote desktop)

Tom suggested an interesting usage scenario in which you might want to provide a user a secure way to browse the Internet without exposing your client machine to a wide range of client-side exploits. Providing a full desktop is complex and raises the question of which desktop we should be providing (GNOME, KDE, XFCE, LDE, etc.) but Tom suggested that this remote desktop environment would provide a browser, at minimum. Just providing that shouldn't be too complicated.

Whiteboard

As pre comments above and in forum thread: A minimalist TKL client with RDP server (ie can be connected to via Windows native Remote Desktop client) which basically just includes a Web browser.
