Create an LDAP appliance

Hmm... Thinking that having an easy way of getting a directory server up and running quick would be very effective and less of a pain.

Whiteboard

It might be a nice idea to include something like phpLdapAdmin in an appliance like this.
http://phpldapadmin.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

Just to flesh out some requirements for this server:
- OpenLDAP
- GOsa for account management (http://www.gosa-project.org/)
- FreeRADIUS with authentication to LDAP accounts

This should basically be a secure authentication server, SSL enabled on all services out of the box. SOOOO many of the other TurnKey servers support LDAP authentication but getting an LDAP server built and configured is non trivial.

p.s. i've just built a server as described above, the latest packages for GOsa require packages from Maverick Meerkat.

Adrian completed an OpenLDAP appliance TKLPatch. See here: http://www.turnkeylinux.org/forum/general/20100819/tklpatch-openldap
