Increase search speed by using separate search thread

Currently all search job is done by main thread periodically forcing GTK loop to process pending events. It appears that GTK1 pending event processing was faster. Since switching to the GTK2 search speed is greatly degraded. Moving all search code to separate thread will increase search speed at least to previous level.
