Integrate with protected-instance feature of underlying projects
Projects like Trove provision resources from services like Nova, Cinder, Swift, and Neutron when a user requests a database instance. These resources are provisioned and managed by Trove and bad things happen when a user is able to interact with these resources directly.
It would be highly advantageous if Trove were able, for example, to provision protected resources from Nova and Cinder and use these to launch a VM on which to run a database. This protected VM would be hidden from direct manipulation by the user, using Nova commands that Trove considered to be potentially harmful.
