Unified Expression Language

We have a series of functions like numcomp, binop, etc. now to do expression evaluation. These are required since we often need explicit type conversion, but it any non-trivial operation is done it gets bulky (rather annoying would be more correct). Some kind of proper expression evaluation syntax would be a boon. It should have automatic type detection and automatically be a Set or Condition as required.
