Graphical Indicator for maximised terminal

I often use multiple terminals with terminator where I am using the keybinding Ctrl-Shift-X to maximise one of them but after a certain time I need to know if the terminator window I am looking at is a single terminal or a maximised terminal without using the keybinding or the menu to see. Thus it would be very convienent to have a small simple terminal maximised indicator sign somewhere on the top of it.
