The GTK interface is not user friendly and is buggy

The GTK interface has several problems. Try creating and restoring restore points with the cli version, and creating and restoring custom files with the cli version. Then do the same with the GTK version.
The GTK version should work just like that. Always read and write to ~/.sysres of the user, not /root even when running as root. Restore files without errors if there are none.
