Diamond: diff two XML files
This project focusses on extending the capabilities of Diamond. It is very common to have multiple slightly different input files for the same problem, for comparing the quality and efficiency of different discretisations or options. It would be very useful to be able to see in an intuitive way (for example, with the use of colour) the differences between two similar input files. During the project, the developer will develop the capability to compare two XML files, and display the differences between them in an intuitive way to the user. If time permits. This project will significantly improve the usability of Diamond, making it even easier to correctly configure scientific models and to deliver reliable computational results.

Should attributes be diffed? If so how should that be shown? Coloring in the attribute window?
