cpu temprature issue

When using sound converter, cpu usage rises to 100%. I used it first time on a laptop trying to convert lots of mp3's. This caused the cpu to overhear and therefore pc to shutdown. My suggestion is to add an option, if the user wants the application to have a break lets say 1 minute break for every 10 minutes work, so that he can import huge amount of data without pc restarting.

You can launch "soundconverter --jobs=1" to restrict soundconverter to only one core. You can also use "nice" to ensure soundconverter will not rise the cpu frequency.
Maybe we need a "background operation" option ?
