Server Side Book Containment

This would be a long, long ways down the road. However, implementation for the basic functions would be quite doable.
Eventually, the links Socrates fetches will have "Dead" links, and the user will no longer be able to get those books.
In order to keep things simple, why not have a server in which all books can be sent to...the only requirement is that they can ONLY be PDF/ODF, no OOXML, no .doc. This would promote ODF somewhat, and also would secure a place on the server(s?) to hold those books. If we keep up funding, like the Debian project, those books could go into circulation indefinitely, giving everyone a chance to read them.
