Whiteboard

This feature has been implemented in the latest snapshots. However, a better integration into Sugar would be great. Testing is also heavily required.

Can I Install to a USB stick? -- Not yet. Upstream reported some issues, but I heard it was in the works. I'd also recommend using another way (with livecd-iso-to-disk) which we're investigating now.

How big is the install? -- Depends on how you partition the device. Basically as big as it was on the USB key (1.1 GB), however, you'll probably also need a boot and swap partition.

Its important not to make installing to the harddrive too easy, I've heard reports from teachers who teach linux of kids erasing their parents computer hard drives and losing important information. -- Right now one needs to run a specific command (zyx-liveinstaller) as root (which one needs to become before) in the terminal. That's already quite some barrier, I guess. We should investigate this though, I agree!

This has been shipped with all of the latest snapshots and will be in the final release!
