Ability to hide icons in slingshot

Sometimes some unthemed, and unwanted but required apps have to be installed on the system, for example imagemagick, or dconf-editor. Even the libreoffice-suite in my opinion takes too much room in the launcher. I would like to propose a feature that allows hiding of apps in the slingshot launcher.

This could work by either using a 'hidden' category in the category view, or a toggle button that toggles hidden items.
