Fullscreen Mode for Slingshot
Would be awesome to have an fullscreen mode for slingshot, like in the first releases.
The Unity Dash provides a fullscreen mode for notebooks, why slingshot not?

I wasn't there back in the days, but I think they ran tests and saw this was the best and most quickly-

Yeah, but when you have a lot of apps it's better to show them all in fullscreen instead of having a lot of pages, I have almost 10 pages of apps in a 5x3 grid. It's that difficult to put a fullscreen button next to the grid/list button? - luksi.reiku
ATM the idea is that if you many apps you should use the Category View instead (there's the View Switcher in the top left corner). We may investigate whether automatically grow when many apps are installed, but this is not anything that will come soon.
If you want to make in larger, I'd suggest to install dconf-editor, browse to /org/pantheon/
Yeah I know but would be an interesting feature for Luna+1. Also you may start working in a way to add and remove launchers from slingshot, something like alacarte. -luksi.reiku
Too much information can be overwhelming and negatively impact productivity. The current Slingshot design was implemented to squash the problems that come with just throwing every app icon at the user. Dividing enormous amounts of information into easily parsible chunks and giving them numbered pages is a much cleaner solution, and one that's much more manageable for the user. Fullscreen is a regression in usability. - ClassicalBadger
