Support color management via Gnome Color Manager

Registered by Renne

Fiddeling around with contrast, brightness, gamma, etc. is quite annoying if you just want to scan with correct colors! :-(

On Windows Vista/7 M$ added a ICC-profile-based framework for color management and demands ICC-profiles from device vendors. So you simply get scans with correct colors as Windoze calculates colors based on the device-model-specific ICC-profiles.

Using the "Gnome Color Manager"-framework in Simple Scan will be a great benefit for users. Just scan, print and get a printout with correct colors ... (all you need to do is to register the ICC-profile of a device once when you connected for the first time).
