Profiles which define used controllers and their names for different midi synths (sw or hw)

Some kind of selectable custom profiles for (hardware or software) synth specific midi controller lists. I like to "twist the knobs" a lot and it would be very nice to be able to accurately name the controllers and only select some controllers to be visible in the list. Since there isn't (yet) a method for a soft synth to automagically inform which controllers are in use and what are they used for ( == controller names) it would be very usable to have controller profiles in seq24. The profiles could be stored in simple text files so there would be no need to add a gui component for editing them.
