I don't use it but adding support for stylus could be useful too.

Syntax highlighting needs to be added to gtk-sourceview (or, alternatively, in the user home folder). If anyone can provide me with the .lang files, I can submit them upstream (or people can submit themselves on Gnome's bugzilla). Should they get accepted, we would get them aswell

Snippets have their own blueprint and bug report, by the way. Be sure to weigh in and mark "me too" on the bug report.

Alternatively, if Gnome doesn't accept the syntax files (or this needs to be hurried), they should be added to /usr/share/gtksourceview-3.0/language-specs
