Modification of timetables: Terms

We can't expect schools to have their timetables 100% complete on the first day of the school-year, as changes are inevitable we need to allow at least some degrees of freedom.
Possible needs for term modification are:
Mistakes - you didn't add a schoolday or a holiday in some place.
Government decided to add/remove some holidays during the school-year.
Currently - you can only change the term before scheduling. (I think)
In the future we would like to be able to:
Remove a schoolday.
Add schoolday.
Create emergency days, this time with full tests.
