Transition from one school-year to another

At the moment there is no way to hide information from the last school-year from the UI while there are quite many parts that would get overcluttered if information form more than one school-year would be displayed.
We need a standard way to update/change person lists, group membership, schedules, sections and courses when a new schoolyear starts while archiving/hiding the old data.
