Birthdate field should be checked for valid input

I'm not sure what it is doing now, but the Birth date field on the new Person dialog asks for yyyy-mm-dd but does not complain when given dd/mm/yyyy format. I didn't notice the light grey format help above the text input box until I had already entered several student's birth dates in the wrong format.

This is more a bug than a feature specification. And it doesn't seem to be a bug, at least anymore. The trunk version of SchoolTool converts the date to the proper format.
