Demographics revisions

By "rename" you mean "delete one and create another different field" right?

Fran: yes, I guess so if that's easiest? Although schools might have data in this field, so not sure what that will do! Can't it just be renamed and changed to a drop down instead. I think in that case any data that doesn't match the field, will show up as "missing: xxx"

Fran: I'm not sure we were fully aligned on this - I had meant for you to change the existing EWS (economic weakness) demographic and replace it with a drop down box and renamed EWS / Freeship, but I realised this week that a new one has been create instead so now we have two of these fields. Could you redo this and either delete the new field and rename the existing EWS with the drop down list, or delete the previous one? The one thing to note is that the current EWS field appears on the adding fees to groups page so it might be easier to rename this one so that you don't have to adjust that flow through.

Also, could you add a 7th category in the drop down for "EWS" please?

Douglas: Oh, so sorry. So the correct story was: Rename "Economic weakness" field to "EWS / Freeship" and make it a dropdown with these values (I added the EWS 7th category):

I also should revert the "Caste" field which is what I actually modified.

Does that sound right?
