A plan for the rest of the year up to 2011
Josh Nordin summary of content discussion:
December 13th - 18th:
This week is about responding to the email threads attached to individual submissions. I call for us to be absorbed solely in reading and being provoked by each piece on its own terms. Try to keep the desire to synthesize them at bay. That is for next week. We also need to be thinking about what we are going to tell the tech team on December 20th. We have a big conference call this Monday (13th). What do we have to share with the others? Should we have another conference call among the three of us next Saturday the 18th?
December 19th - 25th:
By the conference call on the 20th we need to have a clearly stated agenda for the tech team. This week we will focus on writing in between the individual submissions. We should start a word document and start authoring together. We also need to start thinking about the "vision" for the next issue; are we going to stick with a SLOW concept?
December 26th - January 1:
This week we finish writing in between the submissions. Spencer, I think you need to keep a close tab on the tech team to make sure that they are ready to launch by Jan 2. We also need to finish writing the second call for submission. Erik rightly suggested that we tone down the polemical stuff in the original manifesto and focus more on process.
ALSO, those of us who received a submission from someone should personally email them in the next couple of days. Tell them what is going on.
