- add metadata to the discovery results and include information about the running user's permissions and access (running as root, etc...)
- The support of non-sudo data plane discovery will be dependent on the data plane discovery plugin being used.
- If we go to build or port a pure python data plane discovery module, it should support non-sudo dataplane discovery.
