Automation for gir & typelib files

typelib and gir files have started showing up in gnome packages. They have no automated requires. But if you look in one you will see they have deps on real DSO libs. There has been work done at Mageia and rpm.org to autofind these requires.

I believe there was definitely some progress in this area, but the blueprint is still marked as 'not started'?
Yes the patch (originally from SuSE) has been added. Whether the SuSE patch is
useful or the port is "correct" remain to be seen. E.g. there are obvious deficiencies
including:
1) no "js(...)" dependency name space exists anywhere
2) the "python(...)" and the "typelib(...)" namespaces are hopelessly/
