Master Window to track status of rips on all drives
I've just started with RIP - as I need to rip about 10,000 CDs, I'll probably be one of your biggest testers. To get all this done, I have a stack of 6 drives (probably going up to 10 or so) hooked to my Mac Pro Tower. iTunes would mount all of them, but rip sequentially (and occasionally rips would have defects, which is why I'm switching). RIP runs them in parallel. It would be great though if there was a small window I could bring up that could give the status of the rips on the various drives - e.g., a line for each drive featuring the CD title, % ripped (which could turn into a ripped-complete indication), some kind of indicator for errors encountered and/or their severity (which also could be embedded in the former), and an option to eject the disk. Switching between a lot of windows on my screen involves more overhead, and with 10K discs to import, I'm trying to streamline as much as I can. It would also be nice if there's a button on each CD window to search for artwork - this option seems to be available only in the main menu (unless I'm missing it somewhere). Anyway, these are handy but minor things - RIP looks to be a fantastic piece of software - thanks so much for writing it!
