Activity scores for REVU

Registered by Siegfried Gevatter

Perhaps it would be a good idea to have some kind of "activity score" at REVU, both for uploaders and submitters. This would be a big help when trying to prioritize which packages to spend time reviewing.

At the moment, on the list page, packages are sorted according to date. Although we perhaps ought to have "first-come-first-serve" reviewing, I sometimes wonder if it is worthwhile looking at a package that has been sitting there for 6 months. Is the uploader still interested? Is the package hopeless, with lots of reviews but no real progress? Has the package been neglected by reviewers?

Two activity scores, one for the uploader (f.ex. how fast does uploader respond?) one for reviewers (f.ex. how long time without review? how many reviews in total? How many different reviewers?) would help us see what packages are most actively developed. You would be able to see if MOTUs are failing to review a package, or if the uploader is slow and perhaps uninterested.

I do not have a concrete idea for a scoring function, but I envision that it somehow translates to a scale of 3-4 different colours (green, yellow, red, purple) that could be shown for each line (perhaps only for MOTUs.)

Another thing I would like on the webpage is a simple ordinal number for each line, just so we can easily see how many there are.
