With a GPS daemon (gpsd) running the NEMA sentence GGA provides essential and accurate data for location and time.
Regardless of perceived location, incorrect setting of system time, and/or shifts for Daylight Savings; updated every X hours, Redshift will reflect real world settings in a seamless manner and allow the user multiple GPS listeners.
