Juliano, does it make sense to split out a separate blueprint for porting the iptables_manager logic over, since that is distinct from the two features (security group and this generic firewall) that we want to implement on top?
Yeap, for sure. I've ported the iptables_manager with some basic tests and submitted for review. I am working on the blue print now.
Hi Juliano, my guess is that we'll get the iptable_manager code in for F-2, but probably not this complete blueprint (which I assume includes an API for firewalling). Do you think we should move this one to F-3?
Hi Dan, I agree with you. We will have it running in production on locaweb before F-2, but it will take some time to move to API v2 and send the code back to quantum. I am changing it to F-3.
Ok, thanks. We'll be really constrained on reviewing cycles at the end of F-2, so early F-3 would be great. thanks.
