The avatarplugin, once writtten by Balupton and maide workable for 2.x by Alex does exactly what I want it to do.
We can not reuse the code since it is baluptoncode
We need avatars for
registered members profile
a default one for commenters without gravatar
an avatar per post
an avatar per category
an avatar per blog
and avatar per installation (the logo I presume)
