Q: I don't yet see anything in python-marconiclient for v1/1, just v1. Is that because the APIs are close enough? Should I treat this as blocked until a base of v1.1 client is built?

The client still has no support for v1.1, actually, thanks for bringing this up again. I had forgotten and we should start adding everything asap. In theory, whomever implements something in the API should implement it in the client library as well.
