Requesting a version from the catalog
Using the session object you can make requests for an endpoint at a given service_type and region, what we need next is a way to request a specific version of an interface via this mechanism.
This is the lead in to having unversioned endpoints in the service catalog. So we need a generic mechanism (works for all services) that queries the available version information from the endpoint and then redirects versioned queries to the appropriate place.
