Native Support for Multiple Languages in Puredyne Live

Registered by Aymeric Mansoux

Puredyne Live should provide different levels of native language support (from CD, DVD, ...). It should stick to only essential support and not pull half of Ubuntu or all kind of help files and dictionnaries.

Whiteboard

Ok here is the deal:

language selector will not be added, it's just bloat. Instead some locales are selected on the broth side and they can be chosen at boot time using:

locale=es
OR
locale=es_ES.UTF-8

but we miss a GUI for doing that from the Desktop during an already running session.

The default languages for the CD should be:
 - Mandarin Chinese
 - Spanish
 - English

The default languages for the DVD should be:
 - Hindi
 - Arabic
 - Bengali
 - Portugese
 - Russian
 - Japanese
 - German
 - Javanese
 - Punjabi
 - Wu
 - French
 - Telugu
 - Vietnamese
 - marathi
 - Korean
 - Thamil
 - Italian
 - Turkish
 - Cantonese
