The livetree project is intended to combine a structured and managed wiki with more open user commenting. The focus is not on markup features, instead focusing on maximum ease of converting user commenting into refinement of the managed wiki structure. The code and interface are currently public domain and as minimalistic as possible to encourage uptake of its ideas into any other systems that may benefit.
