To reduce the ease which bots and individuals can spam PHPwnage certain features such as a CAPTCHA on the registration page as well as displaying the rules or some sort of TOS on the registration page as well which the user must agree to in order to register. Access to the administration control panel should require the user to login again and should contain a CAPTCHA as well. The admin control panel should also time out users after several invalid attempts to as a precaution against brute forcing.
