Phatch should show/hide fields based on the value of other fields.

It makes no sense to show JPEG options when saving as PNG. However this won't be an easy task.

Investigate if immediate change like with choicefield is possible. (done!)
I restricted it to boolean and choice fields, but i can easily add to others if necessary. The optional fields should be under the fields which controls it otherwise the current focus field has to jump up and that is an usability nightmare.
