it would be nice to have the possibility to to choose in the "text action" from with side the horizontal/vertical offset is meant.
for example:

text: phatch
horizontal offset: 5%
horizontal offset align: left (or right)
vertical offset: 5%
vertical offset align: top (or bottom)
