Modular sudo dialog
Sudo could open a small modular dialog (similar to the new About dialog) prompting for password. Similar to policy kit. I could make sudo actions much easier for beginner users.

You can achieve this by gksu command. ~grzesiek1e5
Yes, but that may be unknown to a beginner user. With that attitude, you could just use gnome-terminal instead. This would make it more clear, even when using sudo and _not_ gksu. ~Sindri
What for? I assume that anybody who got around to using a terminal knows that they're doing, and doesn't want the terminal to get in the way. ~shnatsel
And, it's like adding an alias... not a terminal-related thing really. Looks more like a distro job. ~shnatsel
It may be good for new users, but then they won't be used to the other terminals that don't have this, and it's not very terminal-ish either. ~munchor
