Provide simple Partition Formating and renaming
elementary needs some sort of a tiny tool, possibly integrated within the contextual menus of Pantheon Files, that could provide several easy tasks related to removable drives, such as formatting and renaming. Nothing too complicated, just to get through.

Beykex--> You can select the removable storage in Sidebar, click in free space in either icon, list or column view of the drive right click choose properties and and you can change name there.
I think it's too dangerous to have "Format" functionality of any device directly in Files! This is bad M$ type practice. Since this is a destructive process, it's best left to a dedicated Disk Utility. Naming, sure.
Devs--> need to add "properties" in context menu after right clicking the removable storage icon in sidebar so as to change name.--ketracel
