Add MTP Support

Many devices, such as all Android 3+ devices and most mp3 players, utilize MTP to transfer data without manually mounting and unmounting volumes. In order to use such a device with Files, MTP support needs to be added.

libmtp is in Ubuntu's repos.
gmpt (http://gmtp.sourceforge.net/), also in Ubuntu's repos, is a dedicated MTP browser.
mtpfs (http://www.adebenham.com/mtpfs/) is a FUSE fs that attempts to bring MTP support to Linux.

Not the job of a file manager. It could be implemented as a gvfs backend. -- xapantu

You can close it, new versions of gvfs now support mtp (http://www.webupd8.org/2013/01/upgrade-to-gvfs-with-mtp-support-in.html) -- jlnavarro111
