[lblanchard 07-08-2014] I think this is an excellent idea to put together a design for a global search for OpenStack. We've been wanting to improve the information architecture as well as shown by the UXblueprint here (https://blueprints.launchpad.net/openstack-ux/+spec/horizon-ia-improvement) and the Horizon blueprint here (https://blueprints.launchpad.net/horizon/+spec/improve-ia) and I think both target similar needs for an easy way for users to jump into the specific section/workflow they need to accomplish their task.

[raghuram-gundimeda 07-09-2014] Thanks much Liz! I'll start off on the design right away. Will also plan next steps to closely work with development through the design phase.
