Training-labs currently installs OpenStack by creating and cloning a "template" virtual machine into the OpenStack nodes. This is very suitable for generating local test environments, but closes the possibility of deploying it beyond the supported virtualization platforms or even more important, in Bare Metal. The PXE server feature creates a virtual machine with bridged networking, which will provision the operative system into any PXE enabled machine in the network, enabling the deployment of osbash beyond the local environment.
