Add Multiple Clips to Timeline at once
We already have the ability to add multiple video / audio files from Nautilus to our File tree, but we don't have the ability to add multiple items from our File tree to our timeline. The user should be able to use the SHIFT and CTRL keys to select many files, and drag and drop them onto the timeline as one large block of items.

Whiteboard
It could be VERY handy to have a modifiable default for what to do with the collection being added to the timeline. The user can then set those options before doing the mass addition and save a whole bunch of time. For example:
- Place all clips on the same track
- Place clips on alternating tracks (e.g. 1 and 2, or 2 and 3, etc)
---- with specified overlap (e.g. 0-n seconds or frames)
---- with specified transition or fade out/in and, obviously setting the direction appropiately
---------options for the transition (e.g. length to overlap, etc)
---- option to INSERT the multiple clips thereby pushing everything to the right on the affected tracks
